Hello,
I am Katie Roberts, an Australian artist working in Melbourne.
I make everything from large-scale works on paper to projection installations.
​
Since finishing my Masters of Fine Art in 2006 on the topic of Light as a Medium, I have been been engaged in a ongoing body of work re-mapping the Yarra River (Birrarung), its history and environment. I aim to make work that includes and acknowledges the hidden histories still present on the land.

Often my work is about our human relationship to the environment; usually it is beautiful and meaningful.
